Joker: Folie a Deux or Joker 2 box office collection prediction: Is Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga's film a flop already?
Joker 2 is releasing in approximately 4,000 US theatres and the gross collection for the opening weekend of the sequel is predicted at near about $60 million. According to reports from Deadline, the earlier estimates for Joker 2 opening were forecasted over $70 million.
The sequel of Joker, «Joker: Folie a Deux» or Joker 2 has already earned around $140 million worldwide even before its release in US. Deadline noted that as Joker 2 or Joker: Folie a Deux is going to be a unique R-rated musical format, thus it might not have the same success which Joker garnered during its opening with an earning of $96.2 million.

Production cost of Joker: Folie a Deux or Joker 2 is estimated at a whopping $190 million and thus there are severe questions that how much the film will even earn in profits. Reports from Deadline though highlighted that Joker 2 kick started on a strong note in Korea while it earned $1.3 million while it benefitted from a local holiday.
Joker 2 or Joker: Folie a Deux has received mixed reviews all over the world while getting an approval of 62 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes though the first part of Joker received around 69 per cent approval rating. Joker: Folie a Deux or Joker 2 will be releasing in Japan on the date of October 11 while it is releasing in China on October 16.
