The firm said Baker will remain a named portfolio manager until his retirement next year to support a “smooth transition of responsibilities”.
A JPMAM spokesperson said Baker will retire from the asset management industry fully in spring 2024.
Baker is currently listed as manager of seven funds; JPM UK Equity Income, JPM UK Dynamic, JPM Europe Dynamic Long Short, JPM Europe Dynamic, JPM Euroland Dynamic, JPM Technology Long Short and JPM Europe Dynamic Technologies.

Effective 31 October, Anthony Lynch, Alexander Whyte, Blake Crawford and Victoria Helvert will assume additional portfolio management responsibilities, alongside the existing portfolio managers.

"[The] transition will be well supported by the strong depth of talent within our International Equity Group. There will be no change to the investment process of any strategies," the spokesperson added.
Baker joined JP Morgan AM in 1994 as a graduate trainee. He was later promoted to analyst within the UK retail funds team, and then to portfolio manager.
