The Emerging Markets Opportunities fund is managed by Anuj Arora and Sonal Tanna, who have managed the strategy for eight and seven years, respectively. Richard Titherington also managed the fund until 2022, when he took a leave of absence.
According to JPMAM, the fund has $2.3bn in assets as of 8 January, when it reopened.
The strategy has delivered negative performance over the last three years, returning -5.7% in 2021, -16.2% in 2022 and -0.4% in 2023, according to data from Morningstar.
JPMAM confirmed the reopening of the fund but declined to comment further.
