In a recent interview, BTS’s Jungkook confirmed that he will be back… this time with a solo album before 2023 ends.
In an interview with the digital radio platform Audacy, the ‘Seven’ hitmaker confirmed that a solo album is in the works. When asked what was next for him this year, he replied, “My solo album… My solo album is on its way.”
However, this is far from the first time, the Golden Maknae has hinted at a solo album. Recently, while appearing on fellow BTS member Suga’s talk show ‘Suchwita’ the singer said he will come with a solo album on November 2023.
As the news of his solo album broke out on X (formerly Twitter), several ARMYs went wild with joy.
One ecstatic fan wrote, “Jungkook's cute lil excited dance after saying his solo album is on its way!”
Another commented, “Can't wait bby, ik it'll be a masterpiece!”
Another predicted that Jungkook’s solo album may get over one billion streams on first day!
“Do y'all think Seven and 3D are gonna be added to Jungkook's solo album?? If so then if Jungkook releases his album after seven reaches 1B streams, then his album will have 1B streams in its first day literally,” reads the comment.
A collaboration with rapper Jack Harlow, ‘3D’ made history after it hit number 1 in the iTunes chart in more than 100 countries! ‘3D’ is an R&B pop number inspired by the hip-hop songs of the 2000s.
Earlier in the year, he made his solo debut with the romantic summer track 'Seven'. He collaborated with American hip-hop artist Latto for the song.
