Virat Kohli made history in the India vs New Zealand showdown at the World Cup semi-finals. It was during this match, that he broke cricket GOAT (greatest of all time) Sachin Tendulkar’s record of scoring most ODI centuries with his 50th ODI century.
In an Instagram Story post, Bollywood ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut waxed eloquent about his brilliant performance at the match.
Sharing a video of Kohli on the field, the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ star gushed about the cricket icon, calling him a “great man with astonishing self-worth and character.”

On the work front, Ranaut was last seen in the action-drama ‘Tejas’. The movie turned out to be a box-office disaster. Ranaut will next be seen in the Indira Gandhi biopic ‘Emergency’.
After his knockout performance, many celebs both from the tinsel town and sports took to social media to congratulate him.
Wife, actress Anushka Sharma also paid tribute to Kohli on her Instagram Stories and called him “God’s child.”
“God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God's child,” she wrote.
Tendulkar penned an emotional post on Twitter, recounting how he got to witness a starry-eyed protege become a formidable cricketer.
