Kejriwal challenges Modi to arrest AAP leaders ahead of protest, says party will only get bigger
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday hit out at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, saying him and his party did not fear being arrested and that their ideas would live on even if the party was gone.
«You arrest all of us and then see if AAP gets destroyed or gets bigger,» the Aam Aadmi Party chief said at the party's headquarters, ahead of a planned protest march to the BJP's headquarters in the national capital.
«I along with my MLAs and MPs will go to the BJP office so that the Prime Minister can send anyone he wants to jail,» Kejriwal added.
The Delhi Chief Minister's comments come days after he was released from jail after being taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi excise policy case that has seen multiple AAP leaders face the heat from India's central agencies.
