Keke Palmer has filed a domestic violence case against her ex-partner, Darius Jackson. Citing multiple incidents of physical abuse over a two-year period, she sought a restraining order and sole custody of the couple's 8-month-old son, Leodis.
Palmer filed the case after Jackson reportedly trespassed into her home, physically attacked her, and stole her phone on Sunday.
Her court filing includes screenshots of security footage depicting a man striking a woman over a sofa. She alleges that such instances of violence were not isolated, with another recorded incident on February 13, 2022, where she claims Jackson body-slammed her onto the stairs.

Palmer states that the entire incident on Sunday was captured by her home security camera, which will be presented during the court hearing.
The actress recounts a specific incident from April 21, 2022, where an argument at a restaurant in Santa Barbara escalated. Jackson allegedly accused Palmer of flirting with another woman, leading to destructive behavior, such as stomping on her prescription eyeglasses and throwing her belongings into the rain.
Palmer has also mentioned emotional abuse, detailing instances where Jackson would alternately shower her with affection and then become distant and cold over perceived slights.
She describes feeling gaslit, manipulated, and accused of infidelity.
