Kingda Ka demolished: World’s fastest roller coaster at Six Flags in New Jersey meets its end
Kingda Ka roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure was brought down in a controlled implosion early on February 28. Some were caught off guard as the demolition, originally scheduled for later in the morning, was carried out earlier than expected.
Local authorities warned residents about the noise and advised them to keep pets indoors.
Since its debut in 2005, Kingda Ka had been a record-breaking marvel, launching riders to 128 mph in just 3.5 seconds and towering 456 feet above the ground.
Over nearly two decades, millions experienced its adrenaline-pumping thrills, cementing its status as a legendary ride.
