The film had the third-highest opening of the year a little behind Kung Fu Panda 4 which was released in early March and grossed $58.3 million in its opening week. Dune: Part Two sits comfortably at the top of this list after a whopping $81.5 million debut weekend.

'Kingdom of the Planet of Apes', that released on May 10 this year, has been performing consistently well across its opening weekend. The 2024 dystopian action-adventure film stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy in important roles in the film.
