Krsnaa Diagnostics on Thursday said that it has acquired a 23.53% stake in Apulki Healthcare, that operates hospitals dedicated for cancer and cardiac care under public private partnership (PPP) mode.
Pune-based Krsnaa didn't disclose the financial details of the acquisition, but said it would be funded through internal accruals over the next 2-3 months.
As per the terms of the contract, the company will become the exclusive diagnostics partner for Apulkis cancer and cardiac hospitals for the next 30-plus years.
This partnership would provide Krsnaa access to Apulkis planned network of more than 10 hospitals across India.
In the initial phase, Apulki would launch two advanced hospitals with more than 125 beds in Pune and Mumbai, with additional facilities to follow in other metropolitan areas.
