Billy Bob Thornton plays Tommy Norris, a struggling man in West Texas. Tommy is divorced, facing significant debt, and trying to secure his family’s future. The character works to protect his land from various corporate interests while also managing his personal struggles. Thornton’s portrayal reflects a life of hard choices and survival in a challenging environment. Landman is created by Taylor Sheridan, known for the successful Yellowstone series.

The cast of Landman includes Jon Hamm as Monty Miller, a powerful oil patch owner in West Texas.
