The last date to update your Aadhaar card online for free has been extended to September 14, 2024. Earlier the last date to update the UID was set to June 14, 2024, by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

This initiative by the government aims to prompt citizens to update their Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents without fees, ensuring accuracy and avoiding complications with Aadhaar-related services.

3. Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.

4. Click on “Send OTP.” An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your mobile.

5. Enter the OTP received and click on “Login.”

6. Choose the type of update (Address or Identity).

7. Click on “Browse” to upload scanned copies of your supporting documents (POI/POA).

8. Review the details entered and uploaded.

9. Click “Submit” to initiate the update request.
