Arvind Kejriwal's petition challenging his arrest by Enforcement Directorate, BJP said that Kejriwal wanted different treatment for himself as 'Khas Aadmi'.
«For the so-called Aam Aadmi chief minister, the court has clearly said that the law cannot be different for the common man and the AAP chief minister. The 'Aam Aadmi' cap has been pulled off as Kejriwal wanted the treatment of a 'Khas Aadmi',» BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi told media persons in Delhi. Trivedi further said that Kejriwal's 'arrogance' was shattered when faced with 'sharp-edged facts'.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, demanded Delhi chief minister's resignation. «Kejriwal should now give up his insistence on running the government from jail and immediately resign from the chief minister's post. If Kejriwal and his party remain adamant, then the President will be left with no other option but to dismiss the government,» he said in a statement.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said AAP leaders should apologise to the people of Delhi.
