The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, hit the screens on October 19 and has since been a crowd-puller, both in India and internationally, firmly securing its place as one of India's top 20 highest-grossing films.
According to industry tracker Sacnik.com, the movie's remarkable success story began with a groundbreaking opening day collection of Rs 64.8 crore, shattering previous records and setting a new standard for Tamil cinema.
