
"Less polling happened in first phase because...": Hema Malini urges people to exercise voting rights
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Hema Malini urged the people to convert their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi into votes and come out in huge numbers to exercise their right to franchise.
She also said that the people are showering their support to the party and the lotus will definitely bloom in this election.
Speaking to ANI, Hema Malini said, «It was a huge gathering at Home Minister Amit Shah's rally. It shows the support of people. I urge the people to go out and exercise their voting rights. People do tell me that you'll be winning with a margin of 5-7 lakhs, it feels good. But, to make this happen, people should go out and vote.»
She further said that less voting happened in the first phase of elections because people are «confident» of BJP's return to power. The actor further urged people to showcase their responsibility towards the country.
