The movie, which has been directed by Zelda Williams in her debut feature direction, showcases Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest, and Carla Gugino.
The film's initial glimpse reveals a young woman seemingly awakening a corpse from a tanning bed. It tells the story of an unpopular high school student, who falls for a dashing Victorian corpse, brought back to life by tragic circumstances. The couple embarks on a murderous journey in search of love, happiness, and missing body parts, according to the producer's description.
Mason Novick and Diablo Cody, known for their collaboration on previous films like «Tully,» «Young Adult,» «Jennifer’s Body,» and «Juno,» are the producers of «Lisa Frankenstein.» Jeffrey Lampert serves as the executive producer.
