The Congress party has announced its sixth list of 5 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The party has fielded Prahlad Gunjal from Kota, who will contest against outgoing Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
It has also fielded Ramchandra Choudhary from Ajmer, Sudarshan Rawat from Rajsamand, Damodar Gurjar from Bhilwara and and C Robert Bruce from Tirunelveli.
It was on Thursday that Gunjal joined the Congress in Jaipur, in the presence of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Govind Singh Dotasra the Rajasthan Congress chief.
Gunjal was a close aide of Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. He was elected MLA twice from Kota North, but had lost the last assembly polls.
With this Congress has declared a total of 190 candidates for the seven phase Lok Sabha polls starting April 19.
