Lok Sabha security breach: Committee report suggests flagging those who visit Parliament multiple times, say sources

The committee is headed by Central Reserve Police Force director general Anish Dayal Singh.
Parliament security head and officials from Delhi Police security wing and Intelligence Bureau are its members, one of the persons quoted above said.
The committee was set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the request of the Lok Sabha Secretariat on the day of the incident (December 13). The terms of reference of the committee are «investigation into the reasons for breach in security of Parliament, identify lapses and recommend further action».
The committee is likely to submit its draft report within a fortnight, with recommendations and suggestions to improve Parliament's overall security. A proposal to install full-body scanners is also on the cards.
Full-body scanners can identify concealed prohibited items underneath. The two intruders had concealed smoke canisters in their shoes which had cavities in their sole and sprayed it after jumping into the Lok Sabha.
It may be recalled that one of the intruders, Manoranjan D, had visited Parliament multiple times — first in the old building and later during the special session in the new House. He obtained a visitor pass on the recommendation of BJP's Mysuru MP Pratap Simha.
