Magicpin has delivered over 1000 orders of tomatoes at Rs 70 per kg across 90 pincodes across Delhi-NCR in just 2 days. The company, in collaboration with the National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF) has started selling tomatoes at Rs 70 per kg through select online platforms registered on the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) across 90+ pincodes in Delhi-NCR.
As the prices of essential commodities continue to surge across India, this offering aims to ease the burden on consumers and provide them with much-needed relief. Magicpin is offering a maximum purchase limit of 2 kilograms of tomatoes at Rs 140 per user per week and those will be delivered to the doorstep of consumers.

The National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF) has been actively working to stabilize commodity prices and ensure fair distribution to consumers.
On behalf of the central government, co-operatives National Cooperative Consumers Federation (NCCF) and NAFED are already selling tomatoes at Rs 70 per kg to retail consumers through mobile vans in Delhi-NCR and a few select cities. With this partnership, magicpin as the biggest seller app on ONDC which has been created to democratize the existing e-commerce system is enabling online sale of tomatoes to ease the problems of the consumers.
