KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) — Short video app TikTok's compliance with Malaysian laws is unsatisfactory, the country's communications minister Fahmi Fadzil said on Thursday.
TikTok must be more proactive in curbing the spread of fake news and defamatory content on its platform, Fahmi said in a social media post after meeting with TikTok representatives.
