drunk man reportedly attacked and killed an 85-year-old woman in Rajasthan's Udaipur district, as informed by the police on Sunday. A video of the incident, which occurred in Tarpal village within the Saira police station area on Saturday, was circulated on social media platforms. The video shows the alleged perpetrator, Pratap Singh (70), assaulting the woman using an umbrella and his legs near the Mahadev temple.
During the attack, he even claims to be a form of Lord Shiva. Police have detained four individuals, including Pratap, Nathu Singh, and two underage individuals who were present during the incident and filmed it. They are currently under questioning.
In the video, the elderly woman is seen begging for mercy, while another individual nearby repeatedly urges the accused not to harm her. Two minors who were recording the incident also attempted to intervene and prevent the accused's actions, but their efforts were unsuccessful. «During questioning, the man told police that in his drunken state, he thought that he was an incarnation of Lord Shiva and beat the woman to death.
