Mandira Bedi have lambasted the Mumbai Airport for being disorganised and chaotic. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Shanti’ actress, described her experience of landing at the Mumbai airport (Terminal 2), as a “nightmare”. She pointed out how careless the airport authorities were when it came to informing the waiting passengers about the timings of flights.
Due to the negligence, several passengers were left helpless, “with no clue where to go.” The actress spent an hour at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport trying to trace her luggage. She eventually found one suitcase on an abandoned conveyor belt, while another was offloaded to another belt and was unattended. Venting about her miserable experience at the airport, she wrote, “And so after 2 weeks, 3 countries, and 6 airports, my kids and I landed in a nightmare at Mumbai's Terminal 2.
Not a single arriving flight is displayed on the screen. Or on the conveyer belts. Absolute chaos reigns, with the hapless passengers not having a clue where to go.” Bedi recently spent a lovely holiday in Greece, Denmark & Switzerland with her two children before returning to Mumbai.
Bedi was earlier married to director Raj Kaushal. The pair got hitched in 1999. In 2011 the couple had their first child — a boy named Vir.
In 2020, the duo adopted a little girl and named her Tara Bedi Kaushal. Kaushal passed away from a cardiac arrest on 30, June 2021. On the work front, Bedi was last seen in the 2019 Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Saaho’ and the 2021 web series ‘Qubool Hai 2.0’ which also starred Karan Singh Grover.
