Manoj Bajpayee sells apartment in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi for Rs 9 crore

Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Shabana Raza Bajpayee have sold an under-construction premium residential apartment in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi locality for Rs 9 crore.

The apartment on the 47th floor of one of the wings of the upcoming tower on Boricha Marg is spread over 1,247 sq ft. The owner of the apartment will also get exclusive access to two car parking slots.

The deal has attracted stamp duty of Rs 54 lakh and the same was registered on August 16, showed the documents accessed through IndexTap.com.

In October 2023, Bajpayee along with his wife had bought four commercial properties in Mumbai’s western suburb Andheri for over Rs 31 crore.

Bajpayee could not be reached for comment.

Residential property sales in the top eight cities soared to an unprecedented high in 2023, fuelled by strong demand across mid-income, premium, and luxury segments.

Mumbai, as the country's largest and priciest real estate market, spearheaded this trend, breaking new records in property transactions and achieving exceptional performance in July.

The city's property market saw registration numbers exceed the 10,000 mark every month in the first seven months of 2024. Moreover, the market has maintained robust momentum with year-on-year growth in registrations for 12 consecutive months since August 2023, underscoring sustained buyer confidence and market resilience.
