dust storm hit major parts of Delhi-NCR on Friday which resulted in power outage in the region.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, «Duststorm/ thunderstorm with rain (followed by rain) and gusty winds with speed of 50-70 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad»
IMD took to X (formerly Twitter) to post precautionary measures. The post said, «Stay indoors, close windows & doors and avoid travel if possible. Take safe shelters; do not take shelter under trees.»
