Social media platform Medial App has raised $120,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by FirstCheque VC, with participation from angel investors including Nayan Jadeja, Rohitashwa Choudhary, Ankit Aggarwal and others.
With a beta-stage user base of over 5,000, Medial is set to launch by the end of January 2024 officially.
Led by Niket Raj Dwivedi, Aishwarya Raj Pandey, Prateek Kaien and Harsh Dwivedi, Medial App aims to revolutionise professional social networking by focusing on real learning and growth in the startup ecosystem.
The platform offers non-clickbait news, industry updates and advice in tech, product, and UI/UX domains, promoting transparent and inclusive workplace conversations.
Niket Raj Dwivedi, founder and chief executive, Medial App, emphasised the company's vision to offer a distinctive experience and bridge the gap for younger users on professional social media platforms.
