MHA orders forces to act as tensions rise after 3 bodies found in Manipur
The centre has stated that security scenario in Manipur has remained fragile for the past few days.
Curfew is clamped in Imphal East and West districts. Temporary suspension of Internet and mobile data service in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Kangpokpi and Churachandpur for a period of two days.
Police have found six bodies five days after three women and three children, including an eight-year-old infant were taken hostage by suspected insurgents from Manipur's Jiribam district. The district neighboring Assam shares border with Cachar in Assam.
Police sources said that bodies of woman and two children were brought to a morgue in Assam's Silchar on Friday night.
