Michael Keaton did not want to film a sequel to a classic and so he was reluctant to get involved in the making of 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice'. It is a sequel to the 1988 horror comedy that starred Keaton in the titled role. He also said that director Tim Burton was equally cautious, but once they began the filming, they found it interesting and completed the project.

Talking to the 'People' magazine, the actor opened up about the upcoming film. The actor said that Tim Burton and he decided from the beginning, that if they ever make it again, he was not interested at all in doing something where too much technology was involved. He did not want to heavily rely on CGI.
Warner Bros. has already released a trailer and teaser. However, an unidentified source has leaked previously unseen material from the film online.
Some of the old cast members including Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Jenna Ortega will return in the sequel. Besides, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Arthur Conti, and Burn Gorman will also appear in the horror movie.
Warner Bros. will most likely release 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' on September 6, 2024.
