The TikTok Billboard Top 50, established just four weeks ago, provides a weekly rundown of the most popular songs on TikTok in the United States, determined by factors like video creations, views, and user engagement. The latest chart reflects activity from October 2 to 8.
Please note that TikTok activity is not considered for standard Billboard charts, except for the TikTok Billboard Top 50.
«My Love Mine All Mine» first made its appearance on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 on the September 30 chart, entering at No. 34, and subsequently jumped to the 5th spot on the October 7 chart, ultimately seizing the coveted No.
1 position. This achievement marks the first time in the chart's five-week history that a song has ascended to No.
1 rather than debuting there.
The track is part of Mitski's latest album, «The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We,» which was released on September 15 and made its debut at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Alternative Albums chart on September 30.
During the pandemic, Mitski coined the title of her latest album as a humorous concept.
She visualized traveling across state lines and encountering a welcoming sign by the roadside. Instead of the typical state mottos like «The Land of 10,000 Lakes» or «The Constitution State,» the sign humorously declared, «The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We.», as per a report in NPR.
Mitski has revealed a North American tour for 2024 in support of her album, «The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.» She will be joined by guest artists such as Tamino, Sunny War, Julia Jacklin, and Sarah Kinsley
