Western Railway in a tweet has informed commuters of Mumbai local trains that due to a technical glitch, many AC local trains will run today (1st August 2023) as non-AC regular services. «So simply you say due to Technical problems, without thinking how much hardships it causes to those who had spent 10x of the normal fares to travel more safely in AC locals,» said an user on Twitter. The Western Railway had earlier said that to clear the extra rush during the Ganpati Festival 2023, it will run special trains between Mumbai Central – Sawantwadi Road, Udhna – Madgaon and Vishvamitri — Kudal.
