Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg will attend, according to NBC News. They will be seated with other notable guests. Musk will co-lead Trump's department of government efficiency (DOGE) commission, focusing on government spending and bureaucracy.
Foreign leaders are also expected. India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will represent India. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said she hopes to attend «if her schedule permits.» China's President Xi Jinping will send an envoy. Argentina's President Javier Milei plans to attend. Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro were invited but haven't confirmed their attendance.
Former US presidents, including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, will also attend with their spouses, except for Michelle Obama. Biden dismissed concerns about his attendance as “childish games.”
Earlier NBC News claimed that Obama and Clinton have received and declined the invitation, while Bush's office indicated no invitation was received. Hillary Clinton also declined the invitation.
