However, this launch was powerful enough to mark the beginning of NASA sending its astronauts back to the moon. NASA plans to do it under its Artemis campaign over the years. After the Apollo Mission ended in 1972, this was the second campaign that NASA was planning on a larger scale.

The lander known as Blue Ghost with a Space X Falcon 9 onboard was launched on January 15 from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. After an hour the Blue Ghost separated from Falcon 9 and before securing communication with Firefly’s Mission Operation in Cedar Park, Texas.
