NASCAR Darlington race is back and will start from Friday. On Friday, truck teams will be competing, Xfinity teams will race on Saturday. On Sunday, Cup teams will compete, as per a report NBC Sports.
On Friday, truck series will practice between 3.05 pm (ET) and 3.25 pm (ET). The qualifying session will be from 3.35 pm (ET) and 4.30 pm (ET). At 7.30 pm (ET), truck series race will take place.
On Saturday, Cup practice will be held between 10.35 am (ET) and 11.20 am (ET). Cup qualifying will take place between 11.20 am (ET) and 12.30 pm (ET).
On Sunday, May 12, cup race will start at 3 pm (ET).
Meanwhile, Michael McDowell, a former Daytona 500 winner, said Wednesday he will not return to Front Row Motorsports after this season. The 39-year-old has been with Front Row Motorsports since 2018. McDowell won the Daytona 500 in 2021 and last year's Cup race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course while driving the No. 34 Ford for Front Row.
He said he's not retiring and is looking for a new seat in the Cup Series.
McDowell has made 228 of his 477 career Cup starts with the organization. He has scored eight of his nine career top-five finishes and 35 of his 40 career top 10s while at Front Row Motorsports.
