The Donald Trump administration has finally acknowledged that European nations may be included in these peace talks at some point. This development comes in from the Riyadh gathering that lasted for more than four hours, but Ukraine has heavily slammed the fact of being excluded from this high-level meeting concerning the peace talks of the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict.
According to AFP, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the negotiations and peace talks should be fair and should involve European nations, including Turkey, a country that has already agreed to host the negotiation talks. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during the high-level meeting, agreed to assign some dedicated teams who would work on the path towards ending the three-year-long conflict between Ukraine and Russia, according to a recent statement by the US State Department.
