Indian cricket team, Shubman Gill had also set some resolutions in place at the beginning of 2023 which he wanted to complete in the year that is about to end in just a few hours.
Gill in an Instagram post shared a list of his resolutions he penned for himself. The post has gone viral and garnered over six lakh likes within an hour of sharing it online.

With 2023 coming to an end, the year has been full of experiences, some great fun and other great learnings. The end of the year didn’t go as planned, but I can proudly say we came ever so close to our goals, giving everything we had. The coming year brings its own challenges and opportunities. Hopefully, we’ll get closer to our goals in 2024. I hope all of you find love, joy, and strength in everything you do.»
While he was able to achieve most of his resolutions, Gill missed out on completing his wish of scoring most tons for India. Gill scored seven while legend Virat Kohli remained at top with eight centuries.
Shubman Gill who was recently given the captaincy cap of Gujarat Titans in the IPL tournament completed 2,000 international runs in this calendar year, becoming the first batter to do so. Gill accomplished this feat during India's ICC Cricket World Cup match against the Netherlands at Bengaluru.
In the 2023 season of IPL, Gill played a total of 17 matches for this franchise where he scored 890 runs with the highest score of 129. He averaged at 59.33 and boasted strike rate of 157.80. He also won the Orange Cap this season.
