Guptill retired from international cricket on Wednesday. The 38-year-old played 198 ODI, 122 T20Is and 47 Tests for the Black Caps. He scored 23 centuries across formats and has several white-ball records to his name.

Guptill, the current captain of the Auckland Aces, will continue to ply his trade in T20 franchise cricket around the globe in the immediate future.
Guptill, who last played for New Zealand in 2022, finished his 14-year international career as the country's leading T20I run-scorer with 3,531 from 122 T20I matches. He also has7,346 ODI runs, placing him third on the ODI list behind Ross Taylor and Stephen Fleming.
He reflected with pride on his international career, saying it was the greatest honour and privilege to play for New Zealand for 14 years.
Guptill scored New Zealand's first ODI double century in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 when he smashed 237 not-out in the quarter-final win over the West Indies at Wellington Stadium.
