Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Sunday said that in politics no one is a permanent enemy or permanent friend.
Addressing a rally in Beed in Marathwada region of Maharashtra, Ajit said, «The people of Beed have seen a lot of ups and downs in politics. Even today when I came here (Beed), You (NCP cadre) welcomed me… I was also welcomed by Shiv Sena (Shinde camp) and BJP leaders as allies, and I thank them.

The NCP's Ajit Pawar faction organised the rally in response to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar addressing a rally in Beed just a few days ago, where he attacked the NCP rebels for joining hands with the BJP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
In his speech, Ajit skipped talking about politics and focused more on how he plans to transform the drought-prone Marathwada. While Ajit did not attack his uncle, other NCP leaders took on Sharad Pawar.
