Solar storms are expected to be back and this will bring back the northern lights.
The European Space Agency had recorded an incident of a major solar flare on May 20. This was recorded by the agency’s Solar Orbiter Aircraft and it occurred right behind the Sun. It was rated as a X12 and it is believed that it hasn’t occurred since 2017. Scientists believe that it will lead to more solar flares in the coming days.
They are caused by a massive sunspot that is 15 times wider than the Earth. It would be an interesting question as to what causes these solar flares. Intense magnetic activity on the Sun causes these solar flares. The sudden release of energy from the Sun’s magnetic field causes these solar flares. These solar flares reach the Earth if the Sunspot is facing the planet Earth.

This will be visible from June 6 once again on Earth. The sunspot could be visible during a new moon night. This will make the sky darker and Northern Lights will be visible on the Northern Hemisphere.
The upcoming Northern Lights will be visible in many parts of the Northern Hemisphere. In places across Canada, the US and Europe, these lights will be visible. In Canada, some of the prominent places where the lights will be visible are Vancouver, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Inuvik among other places.
In the US, it will be visible in Washington, Michigan, Oregon, Montana and North Dakota. Further, in the leading cities of Europe
