study abroad can now retake a single module of their English language proficiency test, if they aren't happy with the scores. Officials have announced the introduction of 'IELTS One Skill Retake,' a convenient option available at eligible IELTS Computer Delivered test centers across India.
This initiative lets test takers retake one of the four essential language skills — Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking — if they feel their initial performance did not meet their expectations. Currently, this feature is exclusively offered to those who have opted for the Computer Delivered IELTS test.
After choosing the 'IELTS One Skill Retake,' test takers will receive a second Test Report Form (TRF) reflecting their new score. This TRF can be used to apply for their migration and study abroad applications.
Depending on their score, test takers can decide whether to use their old or new TRF for the skill they choose to retake.
The 'IELTS One Skill Retake' gained recognition and acceptance from various authoritative bodies, including the Australian Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, and an increasing number of universities and institutions each month.
