Nothing is all set to unveil its second generation flagship smartphone Phone (2) in an Known for its iconic transparent design, Phone (2) comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will be pre-loaded with Nothing OS 2.0, with a new-and-improved user interface. According to Nothing, Phone (2) is one of the most sustainable smartphones with recyclable materials and plastic-free packaging.
The company shared that the new smartphone will be manufactured in India for consumers. Nothing founder and CEO Carl Pei also took to Twitter to reveal that he visited the manufacturing facility in Chennai to monitor the progress himself. Hours before the launch, a tech enthusiast and tipster TechDocterz revealed pictures of the highly-anticipated Nothing Phone (2) on Twitter.
If the images are to be believed, the Phone (2) will boast a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display and is expected to be equipped with a robust 4700mAh battery. The leaked details suggest that the smartphone will feature 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on the latest Android 13 operating system, and will also introduce their new-and-improved NothingOS 2.0.
Meanwhile, the London-based company announced on Monday that it was opening its first exclusive Customer Service Centre in India. The new service centre is scheduled to open in Bengaluru in August to provide customer support and after-sales services. The company also said that it is expanding its coverage of service centres from 230 to over 300 by the end of July, serving 19000 pin codes across the country.
