City investment bank Numis saw profit slump by 60% as the UK's listing drought has continued into 2023.
The UK-focused investment bank, which is set to be acquired by Deutsche Bank for £410m, posted profit of £5.6m for the first half of its fiscal year, down 60% compared to the prior period as capital markets activity has slowed. Revenue of £63.8m was down 14% compared with last year.
