Nushrratt Bharuccha, who got stranded in Israel amidst the escalating Israel-Palestine conflict, is reportedly on her way to India.
In an interview with NDTV, her team informed that the ‘Sony Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ star is on a flight back to India. The team, who earlier lost contact with the actress, managed to get in touch with her, with the help of the Embassy. “We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India,” a team member told the news portal.
The ‘Akaash Vani’ star, who was visiting Israel to participate in the Haifa Film Festival for the screening of her movie ‘Akelli’, was stranded after the festival ended on October 7. The film festival began on September 28.
The movie also stars two Israeli stars Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous, who also featured in the popular web series ‘Fauda’.
