Eric Adams, the next mayor of New York, wants to turn the city into the crypto capital of the world.
His first step: get paid in bitcoin.
“I’m going to take my first THREE paychecks in Bitcoin when I become mayor,” Adams said in a tweet on 4 November, trying to one up the mayor of Miami who said he would take a paycheck in the cryptocurrency.
