The move is part of the trust's ongoing succession planning, with Tufnell having served as chair of the board since the launch of the investment company in April 2018.
Wilding, who currently holds 106,000 ordinary shares in the trust, is a chartered accountant and an experienced non-executive director.
She currently holds the role on the boards of the Balanced Commercial Property trust, Sherborne Investors (Guernsey) C and Wesleyan Assurance Society.

She has also held a number of non-executive director roles previously, including on the boards of Electra Private Equity and UDG Healthcare.
Wilding's executive career has largely been spent within the private equity division at Mercury Asset Management.
