


Ola MoveOS4 released: Anti-theft, better map, improved charging mode and other features
Ola Electric has unveiled its latest software update, MoveOS4, featuring innovative geofencing and timefencing capabilities for enhanced user experience. This software update brings a plethora of new features and improvements to Ola's electric scooters.
Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, expressed excitement about the positive response received during the beta rollout and officially announced the launch of MoveOS 4.
He emphasized the continuous evolution of MoveOS, ensuring Ola's electric vehicles remain technologically advanced and future-proof.
MoveOS4 introduces several noteworthy features, including a faster hypercharger, improved charging time prediction, enhanced hill hold and descent hillhold, energy insights, biometric app lock, app widgets, increased range, eco cruise mode, ride journal, personalized proximity, auto turn-off indicators, new tripmeters, hypercharger limit setting, «Take Me Home» lights, passcode reset and profile editing through the app, faster touch response, faster document/contact sync, faster pairing, and favorites-based calling.
Key Features:
- Ola Maps: The update enhances the search function with faster and more accurate results, improved routing, and a redesigned user interface for convenient access to essential features without leaving the navigation screen. Users can also push locations from their phone to the scooter via Bluetooth and locate their scooter using the Ola Electric app.
- Enhanced Riding Features: Users can enjoy an improved riding experience with enhanced 'Hill Descent Control,' the introduction of 'Cruise Control in eco-mode,' and AI-based automatic indicator control. The system learns user preferences over time,
