Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday demanded a probe into allegations of «harassment and humiliation'' made by IAS officer Ashok Parmar against Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, chief secretary A K Mehta and other top bureaucrats in the Union territory.
Parmar, a 1992 batch IAS officer hailing from Gujarat, currently heads the Bureau of Public Enterprise in J&K.
Parmar has alleged he was being targeted for being a Scheduled Caste IAS officer.
He has written a detailed complaint to the chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes on August 17 this year.
