In a rare and unprecedented move, OnePlus has slashed the price of the OnePlus Watch 2 in India by a sizeable Rs 1,000. The OnePlus Watch 2 which went on sale in March at a price of Rs 24,999 can now be purchased for Rs 23,999. Interestingly, you can get it for even less on Amazon as the e-commerce platform has listed the OnePlus Watch 2 radiant steel variant for Rs 21,999 — a discount of Rs 3,000.

OnePlus lowering the price of the OnePlus Watch 2 to make way for the OnePlus 2R seems like a logical move in that case. But we will see.
The OnePlus Watch 2 eSIM variant has the same exact specs as the OnePlus Watch 2. It has the same “dual-engine architecture” meaning that it has two different processors— a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chip for all the heavy-lifting and another BES 2700 MCU for simpler tasks. OnePlus has already confirmed the OnePlus Watch 2R will be based on WearOS, much like the OnePlus Watch 2.
The Watch 2R will be expected to have big focus on battery life with at least 100 hours of “regular use with all functionalities accessible in smart mode” or up to 48 hours “with heavy use”.
The OnePlus Watch 2 eSIM can track more than 100 types of sports in addition to offering
