Elon Musk is busy changing Twitter logos and policies, fellow entrepreneur, billionaire, and arch-rival Mark Zuckerberg is busy collecting accolades for his martial skills! The 39-year-old Meta CEO recently achieved a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. On July 23, the billionaire shared his new milestone with his followers on Instagram. Posing with his new martial arts coach Dave Camarillo, Zuckerberg wrote, “Congrats @davecamarillo on your 5th degree black belt, Zuckerberg wrote.
«You're a great coach, and I've learned so much about fighting and life from training with you. Also honored to be promoted to compete at the blue belt for the @guerrillajjsanjose team.” The post went viral on the picture and video-sharing website, gaining 204K likes. In the picture, the entrepreneur can be seen wearing a blue belt, which is the belt colour above the beginner-level white belt.
Camarillo is a martial artist who has a black belt in judo, as well as in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Zuckerberg became a patron of the game during the pandemic. In May, he bagged two medals in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament at Silicon Valley High School.
In June, both Musk and Zuckerberg hit headlines when the former invited the latter for a battle of the billionaires. Taking to Twitter, the Tesla boss wrote that he would be up for “a cage fight”, to which the Facebook founder asked him to send his location. Later, Musk shared a picture of him in a training session with Lex Friedman, a popular podcaster, who holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
