He made the remark while addressing a program organised in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Indore. A felicitation ceremony for all the MLAs of the district who won in the recently concluded state assembly polls was held at the BJP office here.
Eight MLAs, including Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Tulsi Silavat participated in the program.
Former minister and MLA from Mhow constituency Usha Thakur did not attend the function.
Addressing MLAs and all the party workers present in the program, Vijayvargiya said, «Small children are becoming addicted to intoxicants in Indore and we are going to take huge action against intoxicants here. Earlier, the youth of Punjab only used to win any game played, but now Punjab has gone far behind due to intoxicant addiction.

Indore is also becoming an intoxicant spot and some people have an evil eye on Indore who are slowly bringing intoxicants to the slums here, he added.
Meanwhile, taking a jibe at senior Congress leader Sam Pitroda's remark about Ram Mandir, the BJP leader said, «What will Sam Pitroda understand about India's sentiments and faith? He is giving the guidance to Congress leaders while sitting abroad that is why Congress is in this condition.
