With excellent calm and composure the Indian duo outclassed their opponents 16-10 and have taken India's medal tally to two.
Notably, Manu Bhaker had won the singles event and has become the second Indian woman to have two Olympic medals.
Bhaker and Sarabjot managed a score of 580 on the Monday qualifiers to be in the race for a third-place finish in the mixed team air pistol event.
