Plot
The story follows Ruby, played by Stephanie Hsu, as she discovers an unsettling pattern. People she has previously had relationships with begin dying. Ruby takes the help of her friend AJ, portrayed by Zosia Mamet. AJ’s interest in true crime proves helpful as Ruby revisits her romantic history. Together, they attempt to understand the cause of the deaths and warn others who may be at risk.
The investigation starts with Ruby’s college boyfriend Brandon. The situation escalates when more ex-lovers fall victim. Ruby decides to act quickly, warning those still alive before it is too late.
